The WSU Arboretum & Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) is a new institution of public horticulture and university education and research. It includes a 1.9-mile loop trail, which is a relatively easy, taking about 45 minutes to complete.  The Arboretum Trail is open all year round and is located across the Washington State University Grizzly Bear Habitat.
