At the Lower Granite Dam and Lake there is Chief Timothy Park, a 282-acre island that is the gateway to Hells Canyon Recreation Area (the deepest gorge in North America).  There are 16 Tent Sites and 33 RV sites while many amenities at Chief Timothy Park.
