Getting Here
Pullman is easy to reach by various transportation options. The closest airport is Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport (PUW), served by Alaska Airlines. Nearby, you’ll also find the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport (LWS), about 45 minutes by car.
Spokane International Airport (GEG), about 1.5 hours away, offers more flight options. And if you’re driving, Pullman is connected by scenic highways from many nearby cities like Spokane, Seattle, and Boise. Plus, bus lines from major transportation hubs (and Amtrak connections from Spokane) are also available, making getting here a breeze!

Washington State University
A trip to Pullman isn’t complete without exploring the WSU campus. Take a walk around the grounds, visit the famous Cougar Pride Statue (outside Martin Stadium), and tour the historic Bryan Hall Clock Tower. If you're visiting during football season, be sure to catch a WSU Cougar game. WSU homecoming celebrations are open to visitors as well. Be sure to check out the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, which features contemporary and historical exhibits on a rotating basis.
Outdoor Activities in Pullman
Pullman has plenty of hiking, biking, and birdwatching opportunities. Kamiak Butte County Park has trails that offer stunning views of the area. The Bill Chipman Palouse Trail is another great option. This seven-mile paved trail connects Pullman to Moscow, Idaho, and is popular for both cycling and walking.
