As part of the Clearwater and Snake River National Recreation Trail, the Lewiston Levee Parkway Trail starts at Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston and follows the Snake River on the Idaho side, then turns and runs up the Clearwater River. There are several historical markings of the Lewis and Clark journey, and it is neighbor to the Greenbelt Trail.
